Antique Victorian Convertible Brooch / Pendant Circa 1870s–1890s

Striking antique Victorian brooch dating to the late 19th century, crafted in gilt metal with intricate repoussé, wirework scrolls, & articulated dangle elements. The piece features a bold architectural form with a central vertical panel & original mechanical construction typical of the Etruscan Revival & Aesthetic Movement periods.

Designed as a convertible jewel, this piece includes an integrated hidden pendant bale, allowing it to be worn either as a brooch or suspended from a chain or ribbon as a pendant. The reverse retains its original Victorian C-clasp & long pin stem, confirming authentic period construction.
