Custom Memorial Plaques - Engraved or Color Printed Black Granite Plaques

Whether you are looking to create a memorial or give a special honor, this granite plaque can be customized to meet your needs. Your message and art or logo is laser engraved with a shallow engraving on the black granite plaque with natural flecks. You can also choose color printing on our smaller sizes to print your artwork in full color.

Any size 24” x 36” and larger will require skid shipping. The cost will be calculated after you place the order, and the price will be emailed to you for approval. PlaqueMaker will cover the first $100.00, any remaining balance is the customers responsibility. If your order requires skid shipping, it cannot be shipped via UPS. Your order is no-obligation. After you receive the skid shipping quote or proof, you may cancel your order for no charge.

Production Style

For this product, we have 2 production style options for you. Choose between laser engraving and UV color printing.

Laser Engraving

Laser engraving is the standard option for granite. In this process, the laser strikes the surface of the stone and leaves a light gray mark. The granite has natural light flecks, which can rarely affect the quality of the engraving, especially on small type, pictures, or logos. Any picture, art or logo will be modified to be engraved in light gray.

UV Color Printing

The other option for granite plaques is color printing. With this process, the art and text for your order is printed directly on the surface of the product. If you choose to go with this full color option, any logos provided will work best if they are vector images.

Our UV Color Printing is guaranteed to last up to 2 years when used outdoors.

Mounting

For this plaque, no mounting options are included. For some sizes, you can upgrade to holes, standoffs, or a sign stand. For further information regarding mounting please check out our Mounting Reference Page.

Placing an Order

After placing your order, you will receive a proof to the email provided during checkout within a business day. The email will contain a link to view your designed product, and information on how to make changes or approve your proof. If you wish to make changes, we will email you a revised proof the next business day.

Once you have approved your proof, most orders will ship 2 business days later. After it has shipped, tracking information will be emailed to you.
