The Phantom Pro is Evolv’s most technically advanced climbing shoe for steep climbs and small footholds, and the Evolv Phantom Pro LV Climbing Shoe is a lower-volume version for climbers with narrower feet. The Phantom Pro is Evolv’s most technically advanced climbing shoe, engineered for steep climbs and small features. While it has the same shape, fit, and feel as the original Phantom, the Phantom Pro LV provides plenty of new features for a more powerful performance (PSR 9). Specifically, the Phantom Pro LV features a 1.6mm Love Bump midsole that is far more substantial than the original Phantom. It also has a downturn at the toe more similar to the Shaman, providing extra power for added precision on small holds in steep terrain. Add to that an EVOWRAP rubber midsole plus an active rand, and you get a shoe that starts powerful and delivers even more power when under tension.Evolv also redesigned the Power Lock Heel, bringing the upper higher onto the heel and adding a heel ridge on both sides to give you an edge when heel-hooking at any angle. Instead of the Phantom’s traditional split-tongue design, the Phantom Pro LV opts for a single-piece, sock-like design with a brand-new, multi-point, hook-and-loop closure for a secure fit. Complete with a larger toe patch for more secure toe hooks than ever before, the Phantom Pro LV is one shoe you’ll want to keep in your bouldering arsenal at all times.
