The scrim count (the number of fibers used per square inch in the fabric's weave) is 12 X 12 with a material weight of 3.7oz/yd2. These specs give this cover extra strength and durability. For additional protection, each cover has the thickest black underside coating in the industry. EASY TO INSTALL & SECURE - This cover features a 4-foot overlap (extra material beyond pool size), making the cover easier to install. Secure the vinyl-coated steel-core cable through the reinforced metal grommets and tighten with the specially molded metal winch. The winch turns smoothly making it easy to tighten the cable securing your cover in place. BUYING TIPS: When ordering be sure to order by your actual pool size.
